Thank You for Supporting the Joni and Friends Walk & Roll
A huge thank you to everyone who supported, donated, and prayed for this year's Joni and Friends Walk & Roll! Our NLBC team of 13 walkers helped raise $1300, contributing to an incredible $87,000 total raised at the event!
These funds will provide scholarships for families affected by disability to attend Family Retreats and Marriage Retreats and will also help provide wheelchairs for people in other countries who would otherwise not have access to one.
Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus and helping bring hope through hardship to individuals and families impacted by disability.
Called To Counsel
Next week, on Thursday Oct. 23rd, we have the privilege of hosting this year's Massachusetts Small Town Summit Conference! The theme this year is "Called to Counsel" and is open to all, not just pastors or counselors. This is focused on encouraging everyone to see their calling and ability to counsel, encourage and disciple one another in the church. It will be a huge blessing to all, and I highly encourage everyone to join! You can find more information and register at https://www.smalltownsummits.com/sts-ma (the cost to register is $25 but if this is a hardship for you, please let Pastor Dan know and we can help!)
With hosting this event at NLBC, we are responsible for providing food and snacks throughout the day. Whether you come to the conference or not, would you be able to help? This could be in the form of drinks, breakfast or afternoon snacks, lunch items that can be refrigerated, heated up or just in a crockpot, desserts, whatever you think! We are expecting upwards of 100 attenders, can you help? Please let Judy Todd know if you are willing!
Ministry Opportunities
We have some areas of service and ministry within the church that need to be filled. Would you pray about how you could help?
