Happy New Year! Praise God for His provisions through the last year.

That we have eternal life and a home in Heaven.

Danielle had her last chemo treatment on December 30. Rich and Charlie were able to be there with her, and Charlie helped his mom ring the bell!

Pastor McConchie is home recovering from pneumonia and a cellulitis infection in one of his legs.

For our Sunday service and Pastor Daniel, who will be preaching.

For Barbara Pomeroy, who has been undergoing chemo treatments and immunotherapy for a recurrence of lung cancer.  Her last chemo treatment was December 23. She has a PET scan on January 2. She would appreciate prayer for the anxiety associated with it and for the Lord to calm her spirit as she goes through this journey.

For Pastor David Levendusky who has a cellulitis infection on both his legs. His wife recently had a heart attack, but is home now recovering.

For Connor LaFleur who left on December 31 for Japan. He will be staying there for about a month, meeting with potential places of ministry training for church planting in Tokyo.

Pray for the ministries of our church and those who are involved in them: the Prayer Chain, the Praise Team, the Food Pantry, KTFL (Keep the Fire Lit (the young adult Bible Study), our Sunday School classes, the children's choir, the Men's Discipleship Group, the Women's Discipleship Group, the Sound Booth Team, our Children's Ministries, the ministry to the deaf, the Special Needs Care team and our Youth Group. Be in prayer for other ways that we can have effective outreach in our community.

For the membership class that will be taking place this month.

Our ministry focus this week is the Praise Team.  Linda Jablonski (team leader), Jami Bartlett, Tim Black, Jim Browning, Andrew Clasby, David Cobb, Amy Hill, Tim Hunting, Emily and Marina Leonovich, Millie Postema, and Vera Urgina.

Our church of the week is Green River Bible Church, and their pastor Jason Beaman. Jason's wife, Erin, is the Children's Ministry Director.

Our GO Partner of the week is the Springfield Rescue Mission. A recent update from SRM announced that they are running at least $100,000 a month behind what they’re monthly spending is. In 2025, they provided 2 million pounds of food that was distributed to the local community, provided 45 men with Rehabilitation Services, had 12 men graduate from their New Life program, served over 354,000 meals to the local community, and provided 16,716 shelter beds. SRM is an important resource for the homeless and those struggling in the Springfield area.
