What's Next ?

If you were to die today what would happen next?  If a car wreck or a strike of lightning ended it all, what happens to you after that?  Where would you go? What  comes next?  Most people hope their works are good enough to get them into Heaven, but did you know that you can know for sure?  You can be sure that your destination after this is eternal life in Heaven. God sent his Son Jesus Christ to die on a cross for the sins of mankind. After three days Christ rose again, defeating sin and death. Jesus died so we can live and enter Heaven at the end of this life. Christ has prepared the way for us to be with him in heaven, but how can we accept this free gift?  What you need to do is Acknowledge, Believe, and Confess.
ACKNOWLEDGE .  .  .
  • That you are a sinner.
Romans 3:10  "as it is written:'None is righteous, no, not one;"
  • That we are all sinners in need of a Savior.
Romans 3:23  "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
  • That all sinners are worthy of death and eternal separation from God. 
Romans 6:23  "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
           BELIEVE .  .  .
  • That Jesus Christ paid our eternal debt of sin committed against God.
Romans 5:8  "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
  • That He offers the free gift of eternal life to all who believe. 
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
  • That only by faith in Christ you can be saved from your sins.
Ephesians 2:8,9  "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
          CONFESS .  .  .
  • That Christ alone is enough to set you free from your sins and bring you into a right relationship with God.
Romans 10:13  "For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved'.'
John 3:16

Would  You  Like  To  Make  This  Decision ?

If you would like to accept this free gift from Christ, all it takes is a confession to God of yourself as a sinner and a request that He forgives you for your sins. It is not this prayer that saves you but the belief that Christ suffered, died, and rose again to save the world.
Romans 9:10b  "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
If you wish to accept this gift pray a prayer like this .  .  .
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner in need of a Savior, please forgive me from my sins, I accept your free gift of eternal life. Amen."
